Taiwan: Taipei Zoo

After playing almost 5 days of intense Pokemon Go in Tainan, we headed over to Taipei city and visited a kid’s friendly place. Taipei Zoo is apparently the largest in Southeast asia. I wouldn’t have visited the zoo if not for Anna and I’m glad I tagged along. It was worth it to spend half a day in Taipei Zoo. I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking in this post.

I love the colours of the pigeons spotted in the zoo. Especially the beautiful nicobar pigeon in the photo below! So insta-worthy even without filters.

One of my favourite shot is the close-up photo of the hippopotamus. The details of the hippo’s pores and the vibrant fishes swimming around it, somehow made the shot really stood out. #imo

We visited a small yet cosy cafe recommended by Leo. The cafe was apparently featured in a drama which I didn’t watch. But I could already imagine the show to be a romance film just by the name of the cafe.

Taipei 101

We ended off our day with the spectacular view of Taipei city from Taipei 101 skyscraper observatory deck. Just look at the view already… simply stunning!
