26 Sep Gold Coast Day 09 & 10 [ The Drive Up To Brisbane ]

We drove up to Brisbane to meet monkie’s ex classmate and we specifically wanted to have red meat. They brought us to “Norman Hotel” and we were really excited at what we saw. Upon entering the hotel restaurant, there was already quite a queue and we could see part of the kitchen. And it looked like the reality tv show “hell’s kitchen” but not with the screaming. And the beef on the tray was omg de delicious looking!

Needless to say, the beef melts in the mouth. So tender!! The best beef among the red meat we had.

And these are the host who brought us to the steak place. Very friendly peeps :) Monkie brought us to the 3 monkey’s cafe to reminisce on her school days in Brisbane. She said that this was “the place” to be seen for foreign students to hang out after school. You know like what how I was a Far East kid sometimes a Marina kid? Same same…

Day 10, we decided on Ni Hon Jin for lunch. Monkie’s recommendation and damn it was really authentic. Good thing we managed to find this restaurant back.

As lunch we shopped around Gold Coast and had dinner & our usual dessert, coffee and cake. Very hard we wouldn’t put on any weight at the end of the trip.
